This April, Chinese contemporary artist, Zhuang Hong Yi, will present a solo exhibition of new works at Unit London. Characterised by his daringly-bold palette, Zhuang’s meticulously crafted floral artworks reflect the artist’s Chinese heritage and integrate a Western allure. Zhuang works in two dominant, yet distinct mediums, creating what can best be described as three-dimensional paintings. He also creates sculptures and objects from wood, porcelain, and metals. Zhuang’s dazzling meditations on colour, nature and form shift-colours with different perspectives - exciting and ensnaring viewers.
